A stranger\u2019s just a friend<\/a><\/p>\n

This is one of my favorite love songs. Jim Reeves sang it so beautifully. This clip is from the movie: \u201cKimberley Jim.\u201d \u201cA warm smile can bring you true love, a warm heart can make it grow.\u201d He said that he had a slogan that \u201cA stranger is just a friend you haven\u2019t met yet.\u201d So that is why he liked it.<\/p>\n

Two little boys<\/a><\/p>\n

I heard this song on the radio in Rhodesia back in the 60\u2032s. Rolf Harris, from Australia, had some interesting songs. This one really touched my heart when I first heard it. The comradeship between two guys. In the heat of the battle, the one risks his life to help his buddy. In my mind I see Greendale, Salisbury, where I grew up, playing with a guy by the name of Richard Dady.<\/p>\n

One guy across the street from us was the exact same age as me, both born on the exact same day. He became a pilot, and his plane was shot down. His name was Christopher Barry Weimann.<\/p>\n

He ain\u2019t heavy, he\u2019s my brother<\/a><\/p>\n

I have often thought of that line, and the love of an older brother towards a younger weaker one.<\/p>\n

You\u2019ve got a friend<\/a><\/p>\n

I have heard this song on the radio, and managed to find it on the web. The words in this song are very good.<\/p>\n

Let me be a little kinder<\/a><\/p>\n

The correct title of this song is: \u201cLess of me.\u201d<\/p>\n

Let me be there<\/a><\/p>\n

As I was re-posting Olivia Newton-John\u2019s page, I feel this song fits on this page too. The words go like this: \u201cWhenever you feel, you need a friend to lean on, here I am.\u201d<\/p>\n

Be kind to each other.<\/p>\n

That song helped me so much in my marriage. It taught me to be kind to my wife. \u201cBe kind to each other, so many are sad. Be kind to each other and make the world glad. Be a friend, be a brother, with a smile all aglow. Be kind to each other, where ever you go.\u201d I couldn\u2019t find it on the you tube, but I found it was written by John W.
