Peggy Sue<\/a><\/p>\n When I was a teenager I knew a girl by the name of Peggy, and associated her with this song. I don\u2019t know who sang the song, but I know a lot of singers all over the world sing everybody\u2019s songs. I think this love song was written about one of the guy\u2019s girlfriends that was in the Crickets.<\/p>\n Everyday<\/a><\/p>\n Again, I must have heard this love song by Mickey Most. As a teenager I think I was looking for lessons in life and love. That song says: \u201cGo ahead and ask her.\u201d I grew up shy, and was so scared to ask a girl out. I won\u2019t go into any details here as to how things happened. You have to work out your own love life. Good luck.<\/p>\n Maybe Baby<\/a><\/p>\n So many songs have catchy phrases, that I find them running in my head all the time, like this one. There is another song that I will probably do on my next page, where a girl sings \u201cBaby Maybe.\u201d I guess in the music industry they call them \u2018hooks.\u2019 \u201cMaybe baby you\u2019ll be true.\u201d The problem with having a pretty girlfriend is that every other guy wants her too. There is a song I have heard on he radio where they sing: \u201cIf you want to be happy for the rest of your life, don\u2019t make a pretty woman your wife.\u201d<\/p>\n Raining in my heart<\/a><\/p>\n I have heard this song on the radio in Canada, and I presumed it was written by Buddy, but I see it was written by Felice and Boudleaux Bryant. I remember reading about them and all the famous songs they have written for the Everley Brothers. I find it interesting how people have written about love and the problems that go with it. This song is an example of that. I had a young lady in my taxi the other day that wanted to learn how to write songs. Each song is like a message to hungry hearts, to try and find the right way.<\/p>\n I saw the movie, and they showed the minister of the church preaching against him, but when I read the book, it said he was friends with the minister, and they donated their royalties to the church. So you can’t always believe what you see in the movies. I heard one of the guys in the band say that there were no hills in Lubbock Texas, but in the movie there were hills in the background.
