Hi. I have made a list of my favourite love songs for weddings, and I hope you find it helpful if you are planning to get married. Back in the sixty\u2019s I sang a song at my cousin\u2019s marriage called : \u201cWhom God hath joined together.\u201d Then I was going to sing it at my own ceremony in 1972, but she pitched up at the church unexpectedly. I felt embarrassed to sing the same number that I did at her marriage, so, on the spur of the moment I sang a different one that was not appropriate, and I made a right mess.<\/p>\n

2. Loving you<\/a><\/p>\n The way he sings it out on the farm is so tender. \u201cI could spend my whole life through, loving you, just loving you.\u201d<\/p>\n 3. Could I have this dance?<\/a><\/p>\n \u201cCould I have this dance for the rest of my life? Would you be my partner every night? When we\u2019re together, it feels so right.\u201d The pictures on this video are so beautiful and romantic. You can\u2019t have it better than this! Forever and for always<\/a><\/p>\n \u201cI\u2019m keeping you forever and for always.\u201d The way this video is done is so beautiful, tracing love from childhood through to old age. That is the way it is supposed to be.<\/p>\n 5. Why do I love you?<\/a><\/p>\n \u201cI love you because you are helping to make of the lumber of my life, not a tavern, but a temple.\u201d This song points out that his partner is helping him to become a better person. That\u2019s what we all need.<\/p>\n 6. True love<\/a><\/p>\n \u201cWhile I give to you, and you give to me, true love, true love.\u201d This scene is so romantic. I read the book where all her leading men fell in love with her.<\/p>\n 7. Love me tender<\/a><\/p>\n I have chosen the movie version because of all the meaning behind the story. He marries the girl on the chair in the movie. \u201cI\u2019ll be yours through all the years, till the end of time.\u201d It\u2019s a pity in real life it didn\u2019t work out like that.<\/p>\n 8. I\u2019ll never find another you<\/a><\/p>\n \u201cI could search the whole world over until my life is through, but I know I\u2019ll never find another you.\u201d This was a hit when I was a teenager.<\/p>\n 9. You\u2019re the reason I\u2019m living<\/a><\/p>\n \u201cA long, long time ago, when I was down. You picked me up and showed me, true love still could be found.\u201d Some really good words here.<\/p>\n 10. My happiness<\/a><\/p>\n \u201cWhether skies are gray or blue, any place on earth will do, just as long as I\u2019m with you, my happiness.\u201d Beautiful words. I think I heard my Mother sing this , but it is still one of my favourite love songs from a long time ago.<\/p>\n 11. The search is ended<\/a><\/p>\n \u201cI\u2019ve searched the whole over for someone just like you.\u201d \u201cYou\u2019re the perfect girl, and I\u2019ll tell the world, the search is ended.\u201d Some very good words there. This song might go down well at a wedding.<\/p>\n 12. Good luck charm<\/a><\/p>\n \u201cYour love is worth all the gold on earth.\u201d I remember when we first visited America, this song was on my mind.<\/p>\n 13. A world of our own<\/a><\/p>\n \u201cJust leave us alone, and we\u2019ll live in a world of our own.\u201d That\u2019s what marriage is all about.<\/p>\n 14. Welcome to my world<\/a><\/p>\n \u201cWelcome to my world, won\u2019t you come on in.\u201d This number was very popular in Rhodesia. Many meaningful words.<\/p>\n 15. There\u2019ll never be anyone else but you for me<\/a><\/p>\n I think this is still one of the most beautiful love songs.<\/p>\n 16. The nearest thing to heaven<\/a><\/p>\n \u201cYou\u2019re the nearest thing to heaven, yes you are, I have searched for happiness so long and far.\u201d Everyone is searching for happiness. Sometime I lie in bed at night and sing this over in my mind. This is one of the best of my favourite love songs.<\/p>\n 17. All I ask of you<\/a><\/p>\n \u201cLove me, that\u2019s all I ask of you.\u201d I saw this on TV in Africa many years ago, and just found it last week on the net. This is so beautiful and romantic. I think right now this could classify as my favourite love song for a wedding. I imagine it on a big screen behind the people getting married. Wow.<\/p>\n 18.
