Without the songwriters, we wouldn\u2019t have the favourite love songs, so I have a special admiration for the people who started the ball rolling. I am going to share with you some of the people I am familiar with from my generation.<\/p>\n
1. Chuck Berry<\/a><\/p>\n I think of songs like: Memphis Tennessee and The Promised Land. Tremendous songs. Songs like: Ribbon of Darkness, Sundown, and Did she mention my name?<\/p>\n 3. Dolly Parton<\/a><\/p>\n Songs like: Coat of many colors, 9 to 5, and I honestly love you.<\/p>\n 4. Jerry Reed<\/a><\/p>\n A song like: Guitar Man, that I heard on an Elvis record.<\/p>\n 5. Cindy Walker<\/a><\/p>\n She wrote so many good songs, like: Across the bridge, Distant drums, In the misty moonlight, Rosa Rio, You don\u2019t know me, and Sweet dream baby.<\/p>\n 6. Harlan Howard<\/a><\/p>\n He wrote: Heartaches by the number.<\/p>\n 7. Hank Cochran<\/a><\/p>\n Songs like: Make the world go away, and A little bitty tear.<\/p>\n 8. Johnny Cash<\/a><\/p>\n He wrote a lot of songs, like: I walk the line, Give my love to Rose, and Are all the children in?<\/p>\n 9. Willie Nelson<\/a><\/p>\n Some I think of are: Crazy, Funny how time slips away, and Family Bible.<\/p>\n 10. Scott Wiseman<\/a><\/p>\n He wrote one of my favourite love songs: Have I told you lately that I love you?<\/p>\n 11. Marty Robbins<\/a><\/p>\n Some of his songs are: El Paso, You gave me a mountain, and My woman my woman my wife.<\/p>\n 12. Felice and Boudleaux Bryant<\/a><\/p>\n They wrote some hit songs for the Everly Brothers, like: Bye bye love, Wake up Little Susie, and All I have to do is dream.<\/p>\n 13. Buddy Holly<\/a><\/p>\n He was a co-writer of songs like: That\u2019ll be the day, Peggy Sue, and True love ways.<\/p>\n 14. The Beatles<\/a><\/p>\n John Lennon and Paul McCartney were the main writers, of songs like: Love me do, She loves you, Hey Jude, and Yesterday.<\/p>\n 15. Mel Tillis<\/a><\/p>\n My favourite love songs that he wrote are: Detroit City, and Ruby.<\/p>\n 16.\u00a0 Kris Kristofferson<\/a><\/p>\n Check: Me and Bobby McGee, and Why me Lord?<\/p>\n 17.
