It is amazing what men will do to try and win the love of a woman.<\/p>\n 5.\u00a0Mamas don\u2019t let your babies grow up to be cowboys – Willie Nelson<\/a><\/p>\n Big crowd.<\/p>\n 6.\u00a0Tumbling tumbleweeds – Rhonda<\/a><\/p>\n When I was young I heard this song by The Sons of the Pioneers, but I like this version by Rhonda, together with all the beautiful pictures.<\/p>\n 7.\u00a0Big Iron – Marty Robbins<\/a><\/p>\n Very good animation video. Marty Robbins singing.<\/p>\n 8.\u00a0Ringo – Lorne Greene<\/a><\/p>\n Lorne Greene classic.<\/p>\n 9.\u00a0Rawhide – Frankie Laine<\/a><\/p>\n This was a very popular TV show when I was young.<\/p>\n 10.\u00a0A hundred and sixty acres – Marty Robbins<\/a><\/p>\n I had this song on a tape back in the 70’s. I loved this song, and longed to be in America.<\/p>\n 11.\u00a0Don\u2019t take your guns to town – Johnny Cash<\/a><\/p>\n There are some big lessons in this song by Johnny Cash.<\/p>\n 12.\u00a0Cool Water – Frankie Laine <\/a><\/p>\n In Africa we always had a shortage of water, so this song is real, done here by Frankie Laine.<\/p>\n 13.\u00a0The Last Round-Up – Gene Autry<\/a><\/p>\n I am old now, and feel like I am heading for the last round-up.<\/p>\n 14.\u00a0Happy Trails – Roy Rogers and Dale Evans<\/a><\/p>\n I had a comic of Roy Rogers too.<\/p>\n 15. When we were in Canada, I met Tonto\u2019s brother.<\/p>\n 19. Back in the Saddle again – Gene Autry<\/a><\/p>\n Lots of famous cowboy characters.<\/p>\n 20. Cattle call – Slim Whitman<\/a><\/p>\n Some very beautiful sunset photos of cowboys on their horses.<\/p>\n Many of the songs I link to on the YouTube seem to get removed. Maybe they were pirate copies, or maybe they were stolen by the Pirates of the Caribbean. \nI used to watch TV at a friend\u2019s house when I was a teenager, and saw a few of the American shows. In fact I have a whole bunch of videos. In Africa we had an LP of Lorne Green singing this song, plus a whole lot of really good western songs.<\/p>\n
