Today as I played some Jim Reeves songs, I enjoyed them so much that I want to share them with you. Some are old ones with new pictures and arrangements, and some are songs I have never heard before.<\/p>\n
1. I can\u2019t stop loving you<\/a><\/p>\n This is still one of my favourite love songs, and I like this new arrangement.<\/p>\n 2. I love you because<\/a><\/p>\n Another one of my all time favourite love songs.<\/p>\n 3. Make the world go away<\/a><\/p>\n 4. The Blue Canadian Rockies<\/a><\/p>\n I don’t know if Jim Reeves was ever in the Rockies, but I have been, and it feels good.<\/p>\n 5. Railroad bum<\/a><\/p>\n When I was a teenager, I loved singing this song. I changed the words to fit in with the part of the world I was in. It was one of my favourite love songs. Not a love for a girl, but the love of being free and alive!<\/p>\n 6. Dark moon<\/a><\/p>\n There is something about a moon that brings feelings of romance and love. This is still one of my favourite love songs.<\/p>\n 7. There’s always me<\/a><\/p>\n 8. There’s that smile again<\/a><\/p>\n 9. Maureen<\/a><\/p>\n 10. White cliffs of Dover<\/a><\/p>\n It is so nice to know the war is over. I was born in England, just after the Second World War.<\/p>\n 11. Good morning self<\/a><\/p>\n 12. Throw another log on the fire<\/a><\/p>\n I love sit by the fire.<\/p>\n 13. The old Kalahari<\/a><\/p>\n There is something so beautiful about a desert.<\/p>\n 14. Old Tige – A favourite love song<\/a><\/p>\n I get chills all over my body when I sing this song.<\/p>\n 15. Where do I go to throw a picture away<\/a><\/p>\n 16. I guess I\u2019m crazy<\/a><\/p>\n I love the bass on this song. When I play piano, I use those three notes with\u00a0my left hand because of this song.<\/p>\n 17. The world you left behind<\/a><\/p>\n 18. Could I be falling in love<\/a><\/p>\n 19. It\u2019s nothing to me<\/a><\/p>\n Some wise advice. When I was a teenager listening to Jim Reeves, it felt like he was my dad, giving me lessons in living.<\/p>\n 20. The gun<\/a><\/p>\n Today was the first time I ever heard this song, and I cried. So I played it again, and cried again. It has been many years since I cried over a song.<\/p>\n 21. When I lost you<\/a><\/p>\n 22. You\u2019ll never know<\/a><\/p>\n 23. Why do I love you (Melody of love)<\/a><\/p>\n I love the words of this song. They have so much meaning to me.<\/p>\n 24. Before I died<\/a><\/p>\n At least I lived a little while, before I died. I was so sorry when Jim Reeves died, but I feel he has made my life richer because of his singing. He has left us such a lot of lovely songs.
