Rock Songs

I am not sure how to define what is a rock song, but here goes, and I hope you enjoy them.

I still haven’t found what I’m looking for

Back in the 80′s I worked at a high school, and heard this U2 song on the jukebox. One student who played the guitar real good said he wanted to do this kind of gospel music.

Maggie

I have heard this song a few times on the radio. There is something about Rod Stewart and his songs that is fascinating to me.

We didn’t start the fire

A friend in Switzerland sent me this song, and said it was a history lesson. Apparently Billy Joel wanted to be a history teacher, and some versions have all the words, if you want to check them out.

It’s my life

I have heard one song on the radio where a guy sings that it is his life, and other people mustn’t tell him what to do.

19th Nervous Breakdown

The Rolling Stones songs always seem aggressive, and I remember this one from when I was young.

Never gonna give you up

This song was on the Damelin College jukebox too, back in the 80′s, so I am adding it in. It has some good words.

Such a Night

This is one of my favorite love songs and it was on my mind this morning, so I am adding it in. Today is my birthday, and Ontario has made it a public holiday (in my honor!). Feb 21. 2011.

Crazy little thing called love

Here is Michael Buble singing “live” before a fantastic audience.

Many of the songs I link to on the YouTube seem to get removed. Maybe they were pirate copies, or maybe they were stolen by the Pirates of the Caribbean. If any of you see Johnny Depp, ask him if he has seen the songs.
